- As a member of Global Tech Thinkers, Urvashi attended a closed door dinner hosted by French President Macron. She had the honor of participating in a candid discussion with President Macron about Big Tech dominance over the AI ecosystem and implications for democracy, as well as the priorities for the upcoming AI Safety Summit in France.
- Shreeja spoke at the Bangalore edition of MediaNama's Governing the AI Ecosystem discussion, which saw participation from industry, research organisations, and academic institutions. She discussed the importance of establishing existing systems, including the implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, its rules and the Data Protection Board for greater clarity and certainty in the legal system; highlighting that regulation and innovation are not opposing perspectives, and each is needed to contribute to a rights-focused regulatory framework for governing AI.
- Sasha spoke at the panel, 'Automated & generative tools & techniques' at #EuroPCom2024! She was joined by Tomas Lehtinen, and the panel, moderated by Silke Toenshoff, discussed ways futureproofing communications.
- Urvashi was a panellist at YouTube Dialogues: AI for India, held at the at IFFI Goa, on November 21. Joined by Neerja Sekhar, Special Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Rana Daggubati, Actor & Film Producer, Varun Mayya, Science & Business YouTuber, and moderated by Matt Kurlanzik, Head of Business Public Policy for APAC, YouTube, the panel discussed the role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of creativity, emphasising on leveraging AI in a responsible manner.
- Shreeja and Anushka were at the 6th Digital Citizen Summit, organised by Digital Empowerment Foundation, in Hyderabad. They took the attendees through the efforts that it takes to co-create responsible AI principles for India, drawing on insights from our ongong Responsible AI Fellowship.
